  How to Perfectly Apply Wallcoverings

  Prepare and Prime

  Prep Your Surface

  Thoroughly clean and dry the surface where you'll be applying wallpaper. Remove any residue, dirt, and old wallcoverings. Repair any damage and ensure your surface is smooth.

  Prime Your Surface

  Priming your walls increases adhesion, improves durability, and creates a protective barrier between the wallpaper and your wall. ROMAN Primer is the ideal choice for the best results.

  Apply ROMAN Adhesive

  Cut your wallpaper before applying wallpaper glue. Using a paint roller, apply a thin coat of ROMAN adhesive to the back of your wallpaper. Create an even layer of glue by starting at the center of the paper and working towards the edges, ensuring you get enough paste on the seams. Once the sheet has been fully pasted, you can apply the first strip to the wall. Smooth down the wallcovering and remove any excess adhesive or paper.
